Not everyone uses Spotify. With over 100 million subscribers worldwide, Apple Music is the streaming platform of choice for a huge portion of music listeners. Starting today, tracks identified by TrackRadar include a direct link to Apple Music whenever a match is found.
Why Apple Music?
Since launch, the most consistent piece of feedback from users has been: "I found the track, but I use Apple Music — can you add a link?" Fair point. If you are an iPhone user with an Apple Music subscription, a Spotify link is not very useful.
Apple Music integration means TrackRadar now serves both major streaming ecosystems equally. Identify a track from an Instagram post or SoundCloud mix, and you will see links to both Spotify and Apple Music — tap the one you use.
How It Works
When TrackRadar identifies a track, it searches Apple Music's catalogue in parallel with Spotify, Bandcamp, and Discogs. All platform searches run simultaneously, so adding Apple Music does not slow down your results at all.
The matching uses the same intelligent search strategy as our other platform integrations — handling variations in track titles, remix credits, featuring artists, and regional release differences. If a track is available on Apple Music, TrackRadar will find it.
Four Platforms, One Tap
With Apple Music, TrackRadar now links every identified track to up to four platforms:
- Spotify — the most popular streaming platform
- Apple Music — for the Apple ecosystem
- Bandcamp — buy directly from artists and labels
- Discogs — find and buy vinyl pressings
This makes TrackRadar the most comprehensive track linking tool available. No other service connects identified tracks to this many platforms simultaneously.
Especially Useful on Mobile
If you use TrackRadar on iPhone, tapping the Apple Music link opens the track directly in the Apple Music app. No browser redirect, no searching manually — just tap and listen. This is particularly useful when you are scrolling Instagram, hear something you like, and want to save it to your Apple Music library immediately.
The same applies on iPad and Mac — Apple Music links open natively in the Music app across all Apple devices.
Coverage
Apple Music has a catalogue of over 100 million songs, which is comparable to Spotify. For mainstream and major-label releases, coverage is nearly identical between the two platforms. Where they differ is in independent and underground releases — which is why TrackRadar also links to Bandcamp and Discogs for tracks that may not be on either streaming service.
Together, the four-platform approach means that wherever a track is available, TrackRadar has a much better chance of finding it and linking you there.
No Setup Required
Apple Music links appear automatically on track results. There is nothing to configure — if the track is on Apple Music, the link will be there. Try it now with any of our free tools:
- Instagram Track ID — identify tracks from Instagram posts
- Song from Instagram Reel — find songs playing in Reels
- SoundCloud Tracklist Extractor — get full tracklists from DJ mixes
- Vinyl Record Identifier — identify tracks from vinyl record photos
We are committed to making TrackRadar work wherever you listen to music. Apple Music was the most requested platform, and we are glad to finally have it live. If there is another platform you would like to see supported, let us know.
